Today we learned the art and skill of Cup Stacking!  Everyone had a great time trying to beat the timer and Mrs. Price.  It seems she won everytime!  Thank you, Mrs. Price for having such a great activity in P.E.  Enjoy the pictures!

This coming week you will see our 3rd Quarter Interims coming home with students.  I wanted to let you know some new information about the grading that has changed for reading.  District wide changes include the reading grade being weighted.  This means our weekly tests are broken down into three sections for fourth grade.  Comprehension will be 50% - vocabulary and word analysis will be 40% - and 10% will be for "other" (this category will be used at the teacher's discretion).  This breakdown will help us determine strengths and weaknesses at a more detailed level.  If you have any questions about this new breakdown of the reading grades, I will be glad to talk to you about it.
